DTC P00F3-00: Humidity Sensor Circuit Range/Performance: General Description

Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAFS) is measure the mass of intake air entering the engine, and send the signal to ECM. In addition, it is composed of a humidity sensor integrated, so it can be controlled more precisely by calibrating the air volume according to humidity.

A large amount of intake air represents acceleration or high load conditions while a small amount of intake air represents deceleration or idle. The ECM uses this information to control the EGR valve and correct the fuel amount.
