Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
- Remove the gear knob and boots (A) by pulling it upwards.
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the console upper garnish (A).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the console upper cover (A).
- Disconnect the connectors (A).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the console tray (A).
- Disconnect the connector (A).
- Remove the console side cover (A).

- Remove the storage box pad (A).
- Disconnect the console main connector (A).
- After loosening the mounting screws and bolts, remove the floor console assembly (A).
Tightening torque:
6.9 - 9.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.0 - 7.2 lb.ft, 60.8 - 86.8 lb.in)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure the connector is connected properly.
- Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
