System Inspection

Inspection Procedure 

□ Inspect whether to leak air or stuck

  1. Inspect a contamination, gasket and installation

□ Inspection sensor

  1. Check a installation of HO2S, connector connection, damaged wire and ECM.
  2. Check a HO2S silicon contamination that check whether it is to dredge the sensor with white flour. Also, an data would be abnormal.
  3. Check a HO2S contamination (Flowing in fuel, coolant or engine oil)
  4. Check a intake air flow sensor contamination or poor performance, connection and wiring.
  5. Start a engine and check that both throttle position sensor and pedal sensor data would be increased.
  6. Check a ECM ground.

□ Inspection of fuel line

  1. Check whether a fuel filer would be stuck or not.
  2. Check a fuel level.
  3. Check whether leak a low pressure fuel or it is stuck.
  4. Measure a fuel pressure in idle after installing a fuel pressure measurement gauge.

□ Inspection of injector

  1. Measure a resistance injector

□ Inspection of engine pressure

  1. Engine coolant temperature could be became between 80 and 95°C (176°F and 203°F) after starting a engine and stop.
  2. Disconnect an injector extension connector and an ignition coil connector.
  3. Disconnect an ignition coil and an ignition plug.
  4. Install a pressure gauge to ignition plug hole.
  5. A throttle valve is full opened.
  6. Measure a pressure after cranking at least 20 times.

Specification: 13.0kgf/cm2 (200 to 250rpm)

Limitation: 11.5kgf/cm2

Deviation each one cylinder pressure: Below 1.0kg/cm2
