Repair Procedures: Removal

Perform the adaptive value backup procedure using the KDS when replacing with a new AWD ECM.
(Refer to AWD Control System - "ADJUSTMENT ")
Remove the luggage side trim. (Left Side)
(Refer to Body - "LUGGAGE SIDE TRIM ")
Disconnect the AWD ECU connector (A).

Remove the AWD ECU (A) after removing the mounting nuts.
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.7 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.6 lb.ft)
