DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check
  • Poor connector connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty APS (inductive type)
    • Opened power, ground and signal circuit
    • Signal circuit shorted to ground
  • Faulty APS (hall type)
    • Opened signal, power circuit
    • Signal circuit shorted to ground
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • APS2 voltage is less than 0.205V
  • Short circuit to ground or line break
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.3s
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
