DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check
  • Poor connector connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty APS (inductive type)
    • Signal circuit shorted to battery
  • Faulty APS (hall type)
    • Opened ground circuit
    • Signal circuit shorted to ground
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • APS2 is greater than 2.54V
  • Short circuit to battery
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.3s
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
