Removal & Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the air cleaner.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")

  2. Disconnect the Engine Control Module (ECM) connectors (A).

  3. Separate the wiring fixing clip (A) from the ECM bracket.

  4. Remove ECM (A) to upward after releasing the fixed hook (B) by pulling in the direction of the arrow.

  5. Remove the ECM (A) from the bracket after removing the mounting nuts.

    Tightening torque: 

    9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
