Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "AUXILIARY BATTERY ")
Remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
Disconnect the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKPS) connector (A) and separate the wiring fixing clip.

Remove the CKPS (A) after removing the mounting bolt.
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
