Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "AUXILIARY BATTERY ")
Disconnect the Engine Control Module (ECM) connectors (A).

Remove the ECM & bracket after removing the bolts and nut.
Tightening torque:

9.8-11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

Remove the bracket (A) from the ECM after removing the mounting bolts.
Tightening torque:

9.8-11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
