Repair Procedures: Installation

Check that the transmission is shifted to "N".

Install the position sensor (A).

NOTE: Lightly tighten the position sensor mounting bolts so that necessary adjustments can be made.
Install the position sensor "Position sensor neutral fixed jig (09459 - 4G100)".

After tighten the bolts (A) to the specified torque, remove the SST (09459 - 4G100).
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

Install the electronic shift actuator.
(Refer to Automatic Transaxle Control System - "ELECTRONIC SHIFT ACTUATOR ")
Operate the electric shift dial to verify that each range (P, R, N, D) is operating properly.
