Repair Procedures: Removal

Perform the oil pressure characteristics backup procedure using the KDS when replacing with a new TCM.

Click the "Oil-pressure Characteristics Back-Up & Input (TCU replacement)".

Check the condition and then click the "OK".

Remove the IBU unit.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "INTEGRATED BODY CONTROL UNIT (IBU) ")
Remove the SVM unit.
(Refer to Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) - "SURROUND VIEW MONITOR (SVM) ")
Disconnect the TCM connector (A).

Remove the TCM (A) after removing the nuts.
Tightening torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
