Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.

    (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "AUXILIARY BATTERY ")

  2. Disconnect the Engine Control Module (ECM) connectors (A).

  3. Remove the ECM And bracket after removing the bolts and nut.

    Tightening torque: 

    9.8-11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

  4. Remove the bracket (A) from the ECM after removing the mounting bolts.

    Tightening torque: 

    9.8-11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
