DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check - Check symptoms related to lambda sensor open circuit
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • Open in HO2S control circuit
  • Front HO2S
Enable Condition
  • Upstream HO2S operative readiness is detected
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Pumping current circuit open (VIP)
  • Pump voltage (Vip) is 1.2V higher than virtual ground voltage (Vg) and Nernst voltage (Vn) is 1.2V lower than virtual ground voltage (Vg)
Diagnostic Time
  • 2.5s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
