| DTC Strategy |
- During ECM off (engine off), check that engine off timer is incrementing
|
|
| Enable Conditions |
Case 1 |
- Warmed up condition met at previous DC
- ECT at previous DC is greater than 66°C (150.8°F)
- IAT deviation is greater than 0°C (32°F)
- (IAT deviation is difference between IAT at key off previous DC and IAT at key on)
- ECT deviation is greater than 40°C (104°F) (ECT deviation is difference between ECT at key off previous DC and ECT at key "ON")
- IAT or ECT circuit fault not present
|
| Case 2 |
- Warmed up condition met at previous DC
- ECT at previous DC is greater than 66°C (150.8°F)
- IAT deviation is below 40°C (104°F) (IAT deviation is difference between IAT at key off previous DC and IAT at key on)
- ECT deviation is below 30°C (86°F) (ECT deviation is difference between ECT at key off previous DC and ECT at key "ON")
- IAT or ECT circuit fault not present
|
| Threshold Value |
Case 1 |
- Engine off timer is below threshold (engine off timer at key "ON" too slow)
|
| Case 2 |
- Engine off timer is greater than threshold (engine off timer at key "ON" too fast)
