DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal inspection
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open to virtual ground circuit
  • Upstream HO2S
Case 1 Enable Conditions
  • HO2S ceramic temperature greater than 640°C (1184°F)
  • Battery voltage is 10 to 16V
  • Not detect open and short DTC (P013100, P015100, P013200, P015200)
Threshold Value
  • Signal voltage greater than 1.8V
Case 2 Enable Conditions
  • HO2S ceramic temperature greater than 640°C (1184°F)
  • Battery voltage is 10 to 16V
  • Not detect open and short DTC (P013100, P015100, P013200, P015200)
  • Detect high voltage of HO2S
  • HO2S signal transmission failure
Threshold Value
  • If voltage changes of nernst voltage and ground are 75 times less than pumping ampere
  • If voltage changes of pumping ampere and ground are 75 times greater than pumping ampere
Case 3 Enable Conditions
  • HO2S ceramic temperature greater than 640°C (1184°F)
  • Battery voltage is 10 to 16V
  • ASIC circuit off
Threshold Value
  • Detect circuit open
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
