Front View Camera: Removal

WARNING:

When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION AND CAUTION . If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
When working on high voltage system, make sure to check the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and HIGH VOLTAGE SHUT-OFF PROCEDURES .

Read the specification information of the existing front view camera before replacing it with a new one.

Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal and the service interlock connector.
(Refer to Battery Control System - " AUXILIARY BATTERY (12 V) (2WD) ")

(Refer to Battery Control System - " AUXILIARY BATTERY (12 V) (4WD) ")
Remove the multi - sensor blanking cover (A).

Remove the multi - sensor cover (A) by pushing it in the direction of the arrow.

Disconnect the front camera connector (A).

Remove the front camera (A) by pulling both hooks (B) in the direction of the arrow.

NOTE: When separating the fixed points (B), be careful not to damage it.
