Steering Column Module (SCM) Switch

Turn the IG OFF, separate the auxiliary battery (12 V) (-) terminal, and disconnect the high voltage service interlock connector.

Remove the front trunk pad (A).

Remove the auxiliary battery (12 V) service cover (A).

Disconnect the auxiliary battery (12 V) negative (-) terminal (A) after loosening the nut.

Tightening torque: 7.8 - 9.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf-m, 5.8 - 7.2 lb-ft)

Remove the high voltage service interlock connector (A).

WARNING: Wait more than 5 minutes for capacitor of the high voltage battery system to be discharged completely.

Remove the steering column lower shroud panel.
(Refer to Body - " STEERING COLUMN SHROUD PANEL ")
Separate the steering column module switch connector clip (A).
