DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • No message from A/C control module
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty CAN communication line between ECM and A/C control module
  • Faulty A/C control module
Enable Condition
  • Engine speed is faster than 32 RPM
  • Battery voltage is greater than 10V
  • Delay time after ignition switch on is more than 2.6s
Threshold Value
  • No message during 500 ms from A/C control module
Diagnostic Time
  • 1.5s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
