Inspection Condition	(+) Probe		(-) Probe		Reference
Inspection Condition	Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal	Reference
Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component. Ignition "ON".	Alternator connector	3 (FR)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 12V
	Alternator connector	2 (L)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 12V
	Alternator connector	1 (COM)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 7.3V

Good

Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.

No Good

Repair or replace as necessary and then Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
