Exhaust Emissions System - Catalytic Converters: Maintenance
- Every 25, 000 miles, the "Replace Catalyst" warning light will come on. At this time, the catalytic converter should be replaced and the warning light activator switch should be reset.
- Check "Slow Down" indicator light and catalytic converter thermocouple for proper operation by turning ignition switch to "MAR". "Slow Down" light must come on and go out after 2-5 seconds. If system does not function as described, check terminal connections and change parts as necessary.
