Fuel Temperature Sensor

Fuel temperature sensor is located in fuel rail forward of ram housing. Fuel temperature sensor sends fuel temperature data to Engine Control Module (ECM). Upon receiving data, ECM will adjust injector open time accordingly to produce good hot starting in high ambient temperatures.
