Removal & Installation (Range Rover)
NOTE:
ECM connectors must be disconnected sequentially to release them from the unit.
Remove battery cover and disconnect negative battery cable. Position cruise control actuator and pump assembly aside. Lift 2 plastic clips at the top of the "E" box and pull "E" box lid upwards and out. See Fig 1. Release ECM housing cover. Disconnect ECM cooling fan connector. Remove ECM from housing cover. ECM is held in position in the lid of the box by 2 plastic brackets. Release plastic brackets and remove ECM. To install, reverse removal procedure.
