Removal & Installation (Range Rover)
NOTE:
ECM connectors must be disconnected sequentially to release them from the unit.
Remove battery cover and disconnect negative battery cable. Position cruise control actuator and pump assembly aside. Lift 2 plastic clips at the top of the "E" box and pull "E" box lid upwards and out. See Fig 1 . Release ECM housing cover. Disconnect ECM cooling fan connector. Remove ECM from housing cover. ECM is held in position in the lid of the box by 2 plastic brackets. Release plastic brackets and remove ECM. To install, reverse removal procedure.
