Wheel Alignment Procedure: Front: Adjusting
- Mark position of steering ball joints for reference. Loosen track rod and ball joint pinch bolts. See Fig 1 .
- Rotate turnbuckle to obtain correct alignment. Ensure ball joint is not rotated.
- Recheck front wheel alignment. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS .
- Ensure slots in turnbuckle clamps are aligned. See Fig 2 .
- Tighten track rod and ball joint pinch bolts to 28 Nm (21 lbs. ft.).
CAUTION:
Both track rods must be rotated an equal amount.
