Removal

Right-hand drive vehicles
1. Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the stoplamp switch.

All vehicles

CAUTION: The switch has a latching device that only allows the switch to be removed or installed when the switch plunger is depressed.

NOTE: RHD illustration shown, LHD is similar.





Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
