Steering Column Lock Module

Service Repair No - 57.40.28

Removal

NOTE: The column lock module is retained with 2 X 6mm patch locked, tamper proof bolts.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the steering column assembly.

3. CAUTION: Tighten the new tamper proof bolts until the hexagon shears.





Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Using the Land Rover approved diagnostic system, calibrate a new module.
