Check for other modules reporting CAN Bus off or lost communication faults. Check CAN wiring. Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, complete a CAN integrity test. Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the module CAN, power and ground circuits. Refer to the Network Communications instructions of the workshop information. Clear the DTCs and test the system for normal operation. If the concern persists, install a new fuel fired booster heater. The fault must be rectified on the output circuit before the DTC is cleared. Repeated logs of this DTC will result in unrecoverable control module shutdown to prevent module damage.
