WELCOME TO SDD MAIN MENU FIX

SUBJECT

ISSUE

In some instances the Welcome to SDD Main Menu  reverts to the Welcome to IDS Main Menu  This can happen in two instances:

• T4 RDS 7.0 is installed after SDD has been installed
• Panasonic Toughbook is restored using "phoenix recovery" 

CAUSE

The T4 menu file is not replaced during the installation, or is reverted by the T4 installation.

ACTION

To resolve the issue please follow the instructions:

1. Open the start menu and click on "Run"
2. Type into the dialog box C:\Program Files\mainmenu\menufix.cmd  and click OK
3. The menufix function will run automatically restoring the main menu to Welcome to SDD Main Menu  .
