Front Wheel Speed Sensor: Removal

- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the front wheel and tire.
- Remove the fender splash shield. Refer to FENDER SPLASH SHIELD .
- Release the wheel speed sensor lead from the brake hose retaining bracket.
- See figureCAUTION: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang on the brake hose.
Release the brake caliper anchor plate from the wheel knuckle and tie the caliper aside.
- Remove the 2 retaining bolts.

Release the brake caliper from the wheel knuckle.
- Remove the 2 retaining bolts.
- Tie the brake caliper aside.

NOTE: The brake disc is shown removed for clarity.Release the wheel speed sensor from the wheel knuckle.
- Remove the bolt.
- See figure
Remove the wheel speed sensor.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the wiring harness from the clips.
