Front Wheel Speed Sensor: Removal

    WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the fender splash shield. Refer to Fender Splash Shield article.
  3. Release the brake hose bracket from the wheel knuckle.
    • Remove the retaining bolt.

    4. CAUTION: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang on the brake hose.
  4. Release the brake caliper anchor plate from the wheel knuckle and tie the caliper aside.
    • Remove the two retaining bolts.

  5. Release the wheel speed sensor from the wheel knuckle.
    • Remove the bolt.

  6. Remove the wheel speed sensor.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
    • Release the wiring harness from the 5 clips.
