Land Rover have recently received reports that the fuel burning heater remote does not operate the fuel burning heater when the on switch button is pressed.
CAUSE
Currently under analysis.
ACTION
The LED indicator on the fuel burning heater remote indicates various states and conditions for the timed climate operation (please refer to TOPIx Workshop Manual Section 412-02A Auxiliary Climate Control Fuel Fired Booster Heater for full details) and Land Rover require the following information, where a customer has reported a concern with the operation of the remote:
- Note the sequence, colour and time duration of the LED indicator, when the remote 'On' button is pressed and released.
- Continue with diagnosis and rectification of the concern using Symptom Driven Diagnostics (SDD) and with reference to TOPIx.
- Submit an ePQR stating the display event of the LED indicator during diagnosis with reference to step 1 and any replacement parts.
