DTC P0860-87: Gear Shift Module A Communication Circuit - Missing Message: Action
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagram and check the gearshift mechanism power and ground circuits for open circuit, high resistance
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagram and check the LIN bus circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, clear the DTCs and retest. If the fault persists, install a new gearshift mechanism
