DTC P0810-62: Clutch Position Control Error - Signal compare failure: Action
- Using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, select the DTC-associated Guided Diagnostics to facilitate the Reset Adaption Data and Perform Initial Position Search calibration and a clutch calibration. The Guided Diagnostics will subsequently test the system and report a DTC if a fault persists
- If the fault persists, refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the circuit between the high/low range position sensor and the transfer case control module for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair circuit as required, clear DTC and retest
- Start the engine and, using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, read the DTCs. If the fault persists, install a new transfer case control module and configure as a new module. Refer to the Transfer Case Control Module Replacement Application instructions in the relevant Diagnosis and Testing service information. - If the fault persists, contact Retailer Technical Support to seek approval for replacement of the transfer case prior to exchanging the unit.NOTE: The transfer case is supplied with a TCCM already installed and calibrated. Thus, there is no calibration work necessary. Refer to the Transfer Case Replacement Application instructions in the relevant Diagnosis and Testing service information.
