DTC C053C-62: Wheel Speed Sensor Generic Range/Performance - Signal compare failure: Action

NOTE:

This DTC is set when the anti-lock brake system control module detects a difference in the expected wheel speed when compared to the other wheels. However it has not been possible to detect which wheel is at fault
To validate the repair a drive cycle may be needed to release the system, (road test the vehicle from stationary to 30km/h (19 mph) and hold for 7 seconds)

Check that the wheels and tires comply with the manufacturer's specification for the vehicle
Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check any wheel speed sensor power circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check any wheel speed sensor signal circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
Install the correct wheel speed sensor
Install or tighten the wheel speed sensor correctly
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest. If the fault persists, install a new wheel speed sensor
