ISSUE

Activity key brand selection required at PDI.

NOTE: Compatible Part Numbers
  • L8B2-15K601-A* = 315MHz
  • L8B2-15K601-B* = 434MHz

There is no functional difference between the brand logos, these are purely aesthetic however if brand is incorrectly set at PDI please raise an EPQR. 

CAUSE

Details not clear in PDI manual (currently being rectified)

ACTION

  1. Connect the Activity Key 2 to the included charge cable and a suitable USB power outlet.
  2. Touch the screen on the Activity Key to wake it. You will see the screen as shown in [fig 2.1]
  3. Click the lower icon as shown in [fig 2.2] which will enable the brand selection screens
  4. Using the up and down arrows, cycle through the brands as shown in [fig 3.1] select the desired brand to match the vehicle specification.
  5. The brand logo will now be shown on the home screen as in [fig 3.2]
  6. Disconnect the charge cable and set the time if necessary.
