CONTENT
ISSUE
When attempting to complete the application "Service Message Reset" using PATHFINDER, the application fails to complete while checking the battery within the smart key fobs.
CAUSE
The strategy within PATHFINDER prevents the "Service Message Reset" application from progressing. This happens if one of the smart keys is not present or is not sending a signal when attempting to check the state of its internal battery.
PERMANENT CORRECTIVE ACTION
This concern has been resolved with the release of PATHFINDER version 346. The manual patch will no longer be available to download and this SSM will be deleted in 7 days.
