TSBs are now integrated into the 'Fault and Breakdown' Workflow in TOPIx, making essential information readily available to technicians and simplifying the repair process. The technical guidance in the TSB Workflow will be the same as the technical guidance found in the 'Technical Bulletins' section of TOPIx 'Documents.'
The updated strategy for TSBs includes:
- Availability in the 'Fault & Breakdown' workflow:
- TSBs are integrated into the current Workflow using vehicle symptoms.
- Clarity and Highlighting:
- TSBs are clearly marked within the Workflow for ease of understanding.
- Workflow Compliance:
- TSB repairs are accessible only when the Workflow guidance is followed.
- Repair Bill of Material (RBOM) Format:
- TSB repairs will include part numbers, Standard Repair Operation (SRO) details, and will be available in warranty claims as per the RBOM-supported Workflow.
- User Feedback:
- Users will confirm if the TSB guidance resolved the client concern in 'Step 7' of the Workflow.
When a Retailer searches for vehicle symptoms relating to a TSB, it will be displayed on screen, allowing the user to complete the Workflow with the technical guidance provided. TOPIx will show any TSB information for specific vehicle symptoms searched by Retailers during 'Step 1' of the Workflow.
The Workflow offers the following options relating to TSBs:
- If the TSB Workflow functionality IS active for the affected vehicle and the affected vehicle DOES have an applicable TSB:
- The user is informed that a TSB will appear based on the entered symptom.
- If the TSB Workflow functionality IS active for the affected vehicle and the affected vehicle DOES NOT have an applicable TSB:
- The Workflow will continue to follow the standard Workflow process.
- If the TSB Workflow functionality IS NOT active for the affected vehicle:
- The user is directed to the 'Bulletins' section of TOPIx 'Documents'.
Starting November 2024, TSBs within Workflow will be available for Defender (L663), Range Rover (L460), and Range Rover Sport (L461) vehicles, with more models to be added early 2025. All TSBs will remain accessible in the 'Bulletins' section of TOPIx 'Documents'.
