DTC C2008-77: Left Motor - Commanded position not reachable: Action
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the left electric park brake actuator power and ground circuits for open circuit, high resistance
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check for any left electric park brake actuator-related Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and refer to the relevant DTC index. Repair as necessary
- Check the power line and every electrical connector between the left actuator and control unit for corrosion, tight fit, and correct polarity
- Check for other failures related to the left actuator (PBC) and the actuator control (HOST) and follow their service instructions
- Perform ignition change and delete failure memory (switch the Ignition OFF and back ON, then clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s))
- Check functionality by applying and releasing the electric park brake
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest. If the fault persists, install a new left electric park brake actuator
