DTC B108E-04: Display - System internal failures: Action
NOTE:
This DTC may be set even though no fault condition is present and should be ignored unless the customer has reported a problem with the instrument panel cluster control module display failing to turn ON
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check pin 17 of the 32 way instrument panel cluster control module connector for battery voltage. Repair the wiring harness as necessary. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check pin 9 and pin 25 of the 32 way instrument panel cluster control module connector for ground. Repair the wiring harness as necessary. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
- Using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest. If the fault persists, install a new instrument panel cluster control module
- If a new instrument panel cluster control module is installed, perform routines - Learn VIN (0x0404) and Write Odometer Value (0x8018)
