DTC B1D3F-93: Variable Transmission Glazing Control Module - No operation: Action
NOTE:
- To validate the repair firstly run the engine for 30 seconds and check the variable roof blind function, then use the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to check this DTC is no longer set within the body control module
- DO NOT attempt to repair the variable roof blind wiring harness
- DO NOT attempt to measure the roof glazing film output voltage
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the variable roof blind control module power supply circuit for short circuit to power, short circuit to ground, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the variable roof blind control module LIN bus circuit to power, short circuit to ground, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Check the variable roof blind wiring harness between the variable roof blind control module and the roof glazing. Replace the wiring harness or connecting where necessary
- Confirm the roof glazing film is not open circuit. Contact Jaguar Land Rover technical assistance for guidance
- Replace the variable roof blind control module where output voltage is suspected
