Engine Identification
NOTE:

CAUTION:
On LS400, ensure height control switch (if equipped) is turned to OFF position before raising vehicle. Height control switch is located in trunk tool storage area, on driver side.
NOTE:
When servicing engine, reference to right and left refers to engine sides as viewed from rear of engine (drive plate end).
Engine serial number is stamped on front of cylinder block. See Fig 1.
