Ignition Cable: Testing and Inspection

1. REMOVE NO.3 TIMING BELT COVERS.
- Refer to Service and Repair.

2. REMOVE HIGH-TENSION CORDS.

NOTICE: Pulling on or bending the cords may damage the conductor inside.

3. INSPECT HIGH-TENSION CORD RESISTANCE.
- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance.

Maximum resistance: 25 k Ohms per cord.

- If the resistance is greater than maximum, replace the cord.
4. REINSTALL HIGH-TENSION CORDS.

5. REINSTALL NO.3 TIMING BELT COVERS.
