July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Diagnosis & Repair

  1. Inspect brake fluid level. Adjust as needed. If fluid level is okay, go to next step.
  2. Inspect brake fluid level warning switch. Continuity should exist between switch component terminals when switch float is down. Replace as needed. If switch is okay, go to next step.
  3. Inspect brake warning light circuit between switch and ABS ECU for open or short. Repair as needed. If circuit is okay, replace ABS ECU.
