Test 17: Engine Oil Level Warning Light Is Always On

Turn ignition on. After 40 seconds, light should come on. Start engine. If light comes on, go to next step. If light does not come on, ground connector "D" terminal No. 17. If light comes on, replace circuit plate. If light does not come on, check oil level switch. See OIL LEVEL SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS. If switch is okay, repair wiring between switch and connector "D" terminal No. 17. If switch is bad, replace switch and retest.
