Power Seat Switch Circuit Test
- Disconnect driver's power seat control switch. Check for battery voltage between ground and specified seat switch harness connector terminals. See SEAT SWITCH TERMINAL CIRCUIT table. See Figure. If battery voltage exists on all circuits, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist on all circuits, repair open circuit between power seat switch and power seat ECU.
- Check continuity between driver's power seat control switch terminal No. 12 (Brown wire) and ground. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair open ground circuit to power seat ECU and power seat control switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Test driver's power seat switch. See DRIVER'S POWER SEAT SWITCH TEST under COMPONENT TESTS. Replace switch if necessary. If power seat switch is okay, check power seat ECU and switch harness connectors. If connectors are okay, replace power seat ECU.
