If one of the following conditions occurs when the theft deterrent system is set (armed), the system locks all doors, flashes the headlights and taillights, and sounds an alarm. See Figure.

• Unlocking any door or luggage compartment lid without using key or remote keyless entry system.
• Hood is forcibly opened.
• Battery cable is disconnected then reconnected.
