Key Unlock Warning Switch Circuit

Remove steering column cover. Disconnect key unlock warning switch 2-pin connector. Check continuity between switch terminals with key inserted in ignition. Continuity should exist. Check continuity between switch terminals with key removed from ignition. Continuity should not exist. If continuity is as specified, check wiring. See WARNING SYSTEMS article. If continuity is not as specified, replace switch.
