Interval Switch Resistance Test

Disconnect 14-pin combination (wiper/washer) switch connector "A", and 18-pin combination (wiper/washer) switch connector "B". Move wiper/washer switch lever to INT position. measure resistance between terminals A9 and B17. See Figure. With interval knob in SLOW position, resistance should be about 50 k/ohms. With interval knob in FAST position, resistance should be less than 10 k/ohms. If resistance is not as specified, replace combination (wiper/washer) switch.
