a. Inspect the charcoal canister operation.
1. Check the charcoal canister operation according to the table.

Criterion




2. INSPECT VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSY [17650]
a. Inspect the VSV for open circuit.
1. Using an ohmmeter, check that there is continuity between the terminals.

Resistance: 30 - 34 Ohm at 20°C (68°F)

If there is no continuity, replace the VSV.
