How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

Troubleshoot in accordance with the procedures in the following.

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK AND PROBLEM SYMPTOM 
  3. PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ) 
    1. Without an applicable problem symptom table, proceed to A.
    2. With an applicable problem symptom table, proceed to B.

    B: Go to step   5 

    A: Go To Next Step 

  4. PERFORM TROUBLESHOOTING BY FOLLOWING METHOD, DEPENDING ON MALFUNCTION SYMPTOM 
    1. Pre-check (See PRE-CHECK )
      1. Inspection with the hand-held tester (ECU DATA MONITOR).
    2. Terminals of ECU (See TERMINALS OF ECU )
    3. On-vehicle inspection (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
  5. ADJUST, REPAIR OR REPLACE 
  6. CONFIRMATION TEST
